Hi I'm Martha I'm 18 and a type 1 diabetic. I live in Riverside Ca. and go to Riverside Poly High School. I was nine when I was diagnosed with diabetes my endocrinologist is Dr. Eba Hathout at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I am using a mini med insulin pump, which I adore. I am one of the inventors of Future Focus the board game that teaches families about diabetes, which my brother and I have been working with for about four years now. Recently we have directed, written and produced our own T.V. Show that educates our viewers about diabetes. Currently I am the Youth Ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Inland Empire Chapter I am also one of ABC 7 Cool Kids and was recently nominated for riverside's top 25 most remarkable teens.
I am so proud of what I am doing, what I have done and what I will do. I am a very enthusiastic easy to work with energetic person, And I can't wait to face the next challenge I get. I love to act, dance and model. I talk a lot but if you're with me you're having a ton of fun I promise. I love to travel but number one just enjoy myself. ::About Me...

Hello I'm Rudy Barroso, I'm fourteen years old and I am attending Riverside Poly High School. I am not a diabetic. I was born in Riverside, CA, 1994. I am Hispanic and have brown hair and brown eyes; I weigh one hundred and fifteen pounds and am five feet eight inches. I enjoy playing sports especially basketball. I have made the Riverside Poly High school basketball team, and I wish one day I can meet Michael Jordan. I like to go camping, hiking, panning for gold, lifting weights, and exercising. I also like to sing in front of large crowds and invent gadgets. I get straight A's in school. I like to publicly speak in front of people. I would like to be a role model for the Hispanic community, and a role model for kids my age. Many people have asked me, what I am going to do with my future. My goals are to go to a university and to be scientist, or a professional basketball player. Check out my history day project.
